Help Youth Achieve Success

Northwest Youth Corps programs are modeled after the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930's and combine education and job training with employment. The continued success of Northwest Youth Corps depends upon the support we receive from the communities in which we live and work.

Youth enrolled in NYC programs have benefitted from the financial support of Foundation Grants, Endowment Funds, businesses and individuals. Additionally, many of our business sponsors have made generous contributions of necessary equipment and funds, while others have discounted their products or services to help stretch our budget.

Our Project Partners, government agencies and private landowners throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California and Arizona, provide the employment component by contracting with NYC to carry out much needed management projects.

Alumni and their parents, as well as former staff, have played an important role in our growth and development over the years and we would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks for their efforts. We would also like to thank all the individuals and organizations which have supported NYC over the years, and especially this past year.
